incredible views and walking distance to major attractions

I loved waking up to the breathtaking view of the Baptistry and being just a few steps from the Duomo, which made it easy to explore the charm of Florence on foot every day during my stay.

Our family stayed in the Triple Room Duomo View for 5 nights, and it was fantastic! The view of the Baptistry was incredible, and we loved being just steps away from all the major attractions. The air conditioning kept us cool, and the rooms were spacious enough for our needs.

Some furnishings were outdated.

Staying with my family and pets was quite enjoyable! We loved the easy access to the Ponte Vecchio, and the staff were pleasant, especially Marcel who was very helpful. We appreciated the view from our room over the Baptistry.

My wife says that the breakfast could use an upgrade, especially for families.

Why it’s almost great (but not quite)

The views from the rooms were truly spectacular, offering a close look at iconic landmarks. The breakfast was surprisingly delightful, featuring various options to start the day right!

Yet, noise from the bar below can be intrusive, impacting sleep quality. The outdated decor and slight maintenance issues slightly detracted from an otherwise charming experience.

The location is a major highlight, allowing easy access to major attractions. The room was spacious, boasting a large bed, beautiful linens, and a sizable bathroom that felt luxurious. However, noise from the nearby bar made it difficult to have a restful sleep, especially with music playing until midnight. Additionally, a meal inclusion was limited in variety, leaving something to be desired for breakfast options, and staff interaction was less than ideal, causing minor frustration during the checkout process.

We stayed in the Deluxe Suite for one night. The view was incredible, looking out at the Baptistry and Cathedral right from our windows! The space was well-designed, with a huge, comfy bed and a nice lounge area. The shower was also spacious, which was a plus. However, there was some noise from a bar below that went on until late at night, but it didn't bother us too much. Overall, it had a charming vibe and felt very special stepping outside into the lively Piazza.

The experience was quite interesting while staying in a lovely standard triple room facing the Baptistry. However, the furnishings in the room seemed a bit outdated, and I did notice a lack of maintenance in certain areas, like a peeling headboard. Overall, the air conditioning was reliable, which was crucial during my stay.

Just a proper fit for a weekend stopover in Florence with all in all brilliant value for money. The air conditioning worked well when the heat was unbearable, which was a game-changer. Try to get a room facing the Duomo for amazing views.

B&B Soggiorno Battistero is amazing! It's right in front of the Duomo, which means an unforgettable view. Our room was huge, just like an apartment, perfect for relaxing. The breakfast was simple but good too. I loved starting my day with some pastries and coffee. It was close to a local restaurant that was a gem for authentic eats!

The location of B&B Soggiorno Battistero is excellent, situated right in front of the Battistero and Church, providing a stunning view. The room I stayed in was spacious and beautifully presented. Breakfast was convenient and included delicious items such as croissants, yogurt, and coffee, served at 8:30 am.
